Dragonflies and damselflies (Odonata) are a group of aesthetic aquatic insects. Over 420 species of Odonata have been recorded for Malaysia (Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak). They are waiting for me to explore.
Pseudagrion rubriceps can be found at ponds and small grassy streams/drainages. The larval emergence of Pseudagrion rubriceps normally takes place in the morning until early afternoon. Below photo image shows a female Pseudagrion rubriceps resting half submerge on a small wooden stick. It is about to proceed for larval emergence.
